🚀 Ethereum Stays Strong While Bitcoin Dominance Falls

• Bitcoin dominance topped at 65% in July 2025, where nearly 2/3 of crypto market cap was contained within Bitcoin itself.

• As of August 24th, Bitcoin dominance has dropped to 57% while Ethereum’s share of the market has surged to over 14%.

• In the past, Bitcoin dominance dropped below 40% near altseason peak. A drop in Bitcoin dominance is bullish for altcoins.

Why it matters: Ethereum is now outperforming Bitcoin. A continuation of this trend would lead to a healthy altcoin really over the coming months.

• As of August 24th, the altcoin season index is 57. That means 57% of the top 50 altcoins have outperformed Bitcoin over the past 90 days.

• Altseason occurs when at least 75-80% of the major alts outperform Bitcoin.

• While we don’t give financial advice, we feel this can be a good opportunity to invest in reputable altcoins listed on mainstream exchanges such as Coinbase and Binance.

Why it matters: Altcoins can often 5x or 10x within months during an altseason. Getting in early can lead to strong gains. As always, exercise caution as crypto markets are risky.
